"as you may be aware psyclon nine has been more or less a "one man act" since it's inception. this wasn't something that i had planned or even wanted.
through the years band members have come and gone. members who either couldn't handle the stress under such tedious circumstances or members who couldn't make the cut from civillian to super villain.
but sometimes when those stressful, painful situations become too intense it can be difficult to remain steadfast and stay true to yourself, your heart and your goals. during these times it's very difficult to see through the fog and it's easy to make mistakes.
a long time has passed and some of that fog has cleared.
during the process of writing this new album i realized that we we're going to need someone special to be able to help us bring this new era of psyclon nine to life. someone who has the strength, the talent, the will to push everything to the next level.
someone who when the fog was clear, was a close friend and an amazing performer. someone who when took the stage with me it felt right.
some things were said in the past that i wont be able to take back but from this point of clarity where i now stand, most of the reasons that pushed us apart were also reasons why we worked so well together.
i was unprofessional while dealing with the loss of not only one of our bands greatest assets but also one of my closest friends. all these things are behind us now and i ask that you put them behind you as well because without him we would not be able to bring psyclon nine to the next level.
the fact is that rotny was always the perfect soldier and this war is still far from over."
