After careful consideration we have decided to bring yet another angel
fallen into the ranks of Psyclon Nine. Vlixx [of Helltrash fame] will
take on the permanent roll of synth/keys/percussion player starting
with the upcoming tours / album release.
Vlixx and I have been
very good friends over the last 5 years and have always had a great
deal of respect for one another as musicians. We first crossed paths
with Helltrash in 2004 when they were the direct support act on Psyclon
Nines first North American tour. I've always been very impressed by
Vlixx's performance as a band leader and front man. Bringing his
specific brand of presence and perversion into the fold has been
something we've wanted to do for a very long time. We've always
considered Vlixx and Helltrash to be members of the Psyclon "family".
We can't wait to get back on the road and show you our new album We the
Fallen. I've never personally felt this good about our band lineup
since the inception of Psyclon Nine back in 1999. It's as if everything
in our past has been building up to this specific moment. The fallen
stars have aligned and in this year of 2009 we finally feel complete.
As
with the addition of Jon Siren on drums, we ask that you welcome Vlixx
into our family just as I had upon our first meeting 5 years ago.
