[pull the fucking trigger] : ruinatour : v.1

I
just got a message from my friend Chris [Life Cried] telling me that
his record label is sending me a copy of his new album "Banished
Psalms". Chris and I collaborated on a Life Cried track together called
"Bound In Hate" which ended up on the new record. Most of the song was
written by the time he sent it over to me. I added a few synth lines
and a bunch of mechanical sampler riffs throughout the track then, he
added vocals. It was pretty fun as I don't usually work with other
bands much.

This
actually inspired me to work with a few guest musicians on the new
Psyclon Nine album. As I mentioned before I had my friend Brandan who
is the singer of Bleeding Through do some vocals on a couple tracks. I
even got the chance to have Gary Zon [Dismantled], Jason Miller
[Godhead / Co-Producer on We the Fallen], Jamison Boaz [Epsilon Zero /
Engineer + Co-Producer on We the Fallen] and Johan Van Roy [Suicide
Commando] do backing vocals on the intro to the album. Lisa offered her
services as a classically trained pianist so we got to work on a track
together as well.
Working with some of these musicians sparked
new inspiration for me so, you'll be seeing me working on other
projects from time to time. I'm already starting work on a new side
project with Brandan [Bleeding Through]. The plan is to write the
heaviest, "pure industrial" album of all time. Should be a lot of fun.
Lisa has been writing some solo stuff that she's planning on bringing
to life as well. From what I've already heard I think it will be some
amazing music. She's one of the more brilliant musicians that I've ever
had the chance to work with so I've been pretty excited to work with
her on her new project. Johan [Suicide Commando] and I have been
talking about doing some collaborations in the near future as well. At
the very least I see remixing on the horizon...
In other news...
The
album is DONE. I sent the tracks to Corrosive Audio for mastering a few
days ago which means that I'll be receiving the mastered album any day
now and shipping it off to the labels so they can work whatever magick
they work in order to make these discs appear in stores.
Rotny
already posted a little blog about Psyclon Nine being signed over to
ESP guitars for an exclusive endorsement so I'm sure you've already
heard. The people over at ESP have been really amazing. I think they
were a little thrown on how to categorize Psyclon Nine as far as
genre and who to group us with for promotion. Eventually they decided
that we fit in with the Black Metal ESP bands [Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of
Filth, Behemoth] and that they would pair us up with those guys for
their upcoming promotional burst.
Anyhow,
I'm
currently directing album art with my graphic designer [Bryce Edsall]
trying to get this fucking booklet [which has been the bane of our
existence lately] finished. All the while I've been trying to catch up
with emails that I've been ignoring over the last 3 months or so while
I've been busy in the studio.
And...
Working on a follow up to We the Fallen...
I've
been on a writing streak over the past few weeks so I want to utilize
the momentum built up from the studio to work on the next Psyclon Nine
project[s].
Keep your eyes peeled...
Aneurhythm
Inc. is well under way. We're already beginning to book our first

Myspace page [on my top friends] and will be adding more information
very soon. Until then, if you have a band who is in need of
production... Don't be shy... Go ahead and send us a message. We will
be more than happy to check out your music and try to work something
out with you.
